The vision of GKY is "a Glorious and Missioner Church", that is a church that declares the presence of the Kingdom of God and Its values in the world in every aspects of life.
使命
The mission of GKY consists of five aspects of God's mission for the church in this world (Missio Ecclesiae), i.e.:
1. Worship
2. Fellowship
3. Church Education
4. Evangelization
5. Social Concern
The five mission aspects must be in balance, pictured as a five-pointed star, signifying:
a. A balance of church mission as a missioner church
b. The final goal of church mission, which is a glorious church
基督耶稣教会使命之阐述
1. Mission in Worship
To build a vertical relationship between "believers" with God in a fellowship founded on the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross (Hebrews 10:19-25; Jude 1:20).
2. Mission in Fellowship
To build a fellowship among members based on redemptive work of Jesus Christ (John 15:1-17; 17:1-26) and the example of the early church (Acts2:41-42).
3. Mission in Church Education
To educate the congregants in every life aspect to grow in every way into Jesus Christ which the Head, so that the congregants can exist and work in accordance to the foundational Word of God in the midst of world struggles (Ephesians 4:11-15).
4. Mission in Evangelization
a. To build up missioner congregants (evangelization become congregants' lifestyle) to carry the task of evangelization which was commissioned by Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16).
b. To reach out souls for Christ, especially in every province of Indonesia by church presenceand become partner for existing local churches.
c. Proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and Its values in the midst of the society thru ministry and church presence in the society (sounding the prophetic message).
5. Mission in Social Concern
a. Become the Lord's love channel toward congregants, either among GKY churches or the congregants in general (Galatians 6:10) in spirituality, morality or matter.
b. Become the Lord's love channel toward congregants in general to fulfill God's hollistic mission.
